Learning all about winter

School is back in session after a relaxing and much needed winter vacation! During the month of January we are learning all about winter,

We read The Snow Bears and compared and contrasted the story to Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

• We practiced our fine motor skills by using tweezers to put cotton balls into snowman bottles.
• We went ice fishing for alphabet letters
• We played hot chocolate letter identification
• We went on a number hunt in the hallway. When we found our numbers we threw a 'snowball' at the number
• We made snowmen
